If the rental car pick up was available at Gerber, that would be very convenient. At the minimum, the paperwork for the rental car should be done prior to pick up of the rental vehicle.

I loved the one stop shop; with my insurance adjuster on site & rental car waiting for me. After the stress of an accident, it was good to know my car repair was handled with ease.
