Somebody had hit my passenger side door and I thought it would need to be re painted. Joe B. came out looked at it and said he could probably fix it right there. He rubbed it with fluid and got it out so you do not even see it. I have used these guys in the past and would highly recommend them to everyone. They are really pros at what they do.

We have not had to have body shop work done on a vehicle in more than 50 years. I cannot commend Gerber Porter/Chesterton Indiana enough. Emily made it easy to get started and was there for any questions or concerns. She also arranged a rental car for us. Joe the manager scrutinize the Ford Escape and was able to detect damage we did not even see. He walked us through the procedure. He told us up front there would be a wait. Two times a week, we were informed on the progress of our vehicle. Kept up to date When we picked up the Escape it looked showroom new. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Emily was excellent at coordinating my repair and rental car arrangements. She provided top notch customer service that exceeded my expectations! The repair was done in fewer days than expected so that was great. There was a visible paint drip on the finish but it's not that noticeable. Overall, the car looks beautiful and I'm happy how it all turned out. Gerber even vacuumed and washed my car. It looks like new again! Thanks!

Our car had been repaired at this facilty in the past. Exactly, the service was great and the paint matched perfectly! Someone had hit the passenger side mirror recently, cracking the cover. Joe went above and beyond assisting me in getting the right part ordered. When part came in,I brought to him and he replaced it for me for nothing, based on my past patronage. you have a customer for life based on the quality of work and how they take care of their customers. If your is in need of a body shop, Gerber in Chesterton is the place to go. Joe is awesome!

I cannot say enough about the outstanding customer service at the Chesterton, IN location. I will start by saying that my parents car had over $15,000 worth of repairs done here. The final product left us with a vehicle that was impeccable. The car looks identical to when they bought it brand new a few years ago. It looks perfectly and it drives perfectly. Finally, the communication from this location is outstanding. As promised, I received a call every single Tuesday and Thursday (from Joe) who explained the status of the repairs and what the next steps would be. Even if there was no update, Joe called to check in. When I picked up the vehicle with my dad they thoroughly walked around the vehicle with us and Joe even called later in the day to follow up and make sure we were still satisfied. I took my car to the chesterton location and all I can say is WOW! They were absolutely fantastic. Joe is wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. Ronnie at the desk went above and beyond to help me...from having my rent a car ready to being patient with thr glitch with my bank card. The work is impeccable and I would highly recommend these wonderful, hard working people that are an asset to your company.
