When I brought my car into Gerber I was pretty much missing the right side of my car and had stuff hanging everywhere. When I picked my car up you could not even tell anything happened. I was very pleased with how it turned out and they even washed it for me. Mrs. April and Mrs. Tanya had excellent customer service and kept me updated. I was also pleased with how fast the repair guys were able to get it done. Thank you

Communication throughout the entire process was top rate! I was kept informed on the target date, the unanticipated cause of delays and the revised completion date on a constant basis. The car was cleaned and ready for pickup when I arrived.

Hi Kevin, With all the craziness surrounding our move to Pennsylvania...getting here just in time to get hit by the hurricane, lose power and water for a week and doing all the busywork involved in changing addresses, automobile title, tags licenses, etc. I have been remiss in sending you a thank you. Sorry for the delay. When Karen's car was hit by a runaway truck just 5 days before our scheduled move, I was beside myself trying to figure out how I was going to move the items slated to go in the car and how I was going to retrieve the car after it was repaired. You solved all of those problems for me. We brought you a car on Monday, October 22nd with a drivers door that needed replacing, a left front quarter panel that needed repair, front post and center post also needed to be fixed. I have to believe that most if not all body shops ... would have told me that the car would be ready in 2 or more weeks. That would have been devasting because we were closing on our house on Friday October 26th and driving to PA. Fortunately for me your company is not a typical collision company. You and all your people jumped through hoops and pulled off a miracle for which I will always be grateful. You gave me back my wifes car on Friday october 26th...FIXED! I told my Nationwide agent ( Paul Mears in Valdese, NC) about what you did and asked that he relay that info to Nationwide. They need to know about a company like yours. Karen and I were able to make the trip to Pennsylvania ( a move that will have us near children and grandchildren) on schedule, only because of the hard work and dedication of you and your entire team. By the way, before I left I told all my friends ( who reside in your area) about your company, so that if they ever have a need, they will know to call you. Thank you again and please thank your entire team for me. YOU GUYS DELIVER! You did great work and you did it faster than we had a right to expect. From my family to yours... I just wanted to write this letter to express what an extreme pleasure it has been to work with Gerber Collision and Glass. April has been a joy to work with. She was friendly and showed genuine compassion for my situation. I do not have extended rental coverage on my insurance policy and April offered to provide a rental at no cost to me, fully paid for by Gerber Collision. Enterprise came and picked me up and I was on my way. The entire process didn’t even take 30 minutes. Needless to say, I was absolutely floored. Never in a million years would I have expected that level of service (and from such a large company) especially these days. It is good to know that there are still honest, genuine people running businesses who actually have their customers’ best interests at heart. I was obviously stressed and extremely worried after the ... accident, but I can honestly say that Gerber made the entire process as seamless as possible considering the circumstances. They provided grade A service from the start, even providing up to date information via text message for my convenience. April also contacted me by phone the day after my initial visit and provided my estimate down to the penny. She also told me when the parts were coming in and provided the approximate completion date. I then received another text updating the completion date by 2 days! At this very moment, my car is still in the process of being repaired, but based on what I have experienced from this company this far, I am more than confident that my repairs will be timely and my car will be as good as new . I can well understand why BOTH my insurance company and the insurance company of the driver who collided with me use your company to do vehicle repairs. You have got to be the best repair facility in the Charlotte area - bar none. Tawnya: Thank you for your informative weekly calls during almost 6 weeks of shop repairs! You greatly reassured me. I always knew the current status and what to expect. I was grateful to be treated so professionally - as if I were very much a part of the repair process! Simply put... excellent customer service!!! I want to particularly ... thank you for arranging my transportation on the morning I flew into Charlotte (from the airport to your facility) so that I could most conveniently pick-up my repaired car! Kevin: Thank you too for being the one to meet me at the airport immediately on my arrival! I had never met you before, but almost at first sight, I knew that I was in good hands. (As you know my almost-new-car had been nearly totaled by a pretty violent hit-and-run collision... happily, now it's simply not possible to see or experience any evidence of damage.) Thanks also for calling me a day or so after I drove away from your facility to make sure there weren't any problems (and by the way, Kevin, I feel confident that at the time you called me ... Tawnya was just about ready to call me too... you barely beat her to it!). I'm pleased to confirm that, indeed, there are no problems... my car performed flawlessly during and after my 1,000 mile drive home. Aprill: Thank you especially for the rental car that I used (at no cost to me!) for the few hours it took to finish some unexpected last-minute repairs to mine. The thoughtfully provided loaner-car enabled me to visit a near-by friend who needed my help (and freed me from the inconvenience of having to wait unnecessarily at your shop). You did a superb job of "putting the customer first" and making sure that everything was managed for my convenience and satisfaction and I greatly appreciate it!
