Chicago, Illinois -- July 17, 2015 -- The Boyd Group Inc. (the "Boyd Group") today announced the July 15, 2015 acquisition and opening of a collision repair center in Plainwell Michigan. The center has approximately 12,500 square feet of production space and previously operated under the name McDonald's Auto Body.
"With three locations in Grand Rapids and two in Kalamazoo, this new center in Plainwell fills a gap between the two areas and adds to our brand presence in southwestern Michigan," said Tim O'Day, President and COO of the Boyd Group's U.S. operations. "It is well located close to highways 131 and M-89 and increases convenience and availability for our customers and insurance partners."
