Chicago, Illinois – March 20, 2019 – The Boyd Group Inc. (the “Boyd Group”) today announced the March 18, 2019 acquisition of a repair center in Richland, Washington. This location previously operated as Atomic Auto Body and Detail and has served the community for 53 years from the same location. Richland is located at the junction of the Yakima and Columbia rivers and is part of the Tri-Cities market, which also includes Pasco and Kennewick. This new repair center is approximately 15 minutes northwest of Gerber’s Kennewick location.

(the “Boyd Group”) today announced the March 8, 2019 acquisition of a multi-store operation consisting of 11 collision repair locations in Michigan. These repair centers, which previously operated under the names of Dusty’s Collision (7 locations), Whitney’s Collision (3 locations) and Wright Brothers Collision (1 location), are located in Ann Arbor, Flint and Lansing in eastern and central Michigan.

Dusty’s Collision originated in 1995 in Ann Arbor. A second Ann Arbor location was added in 2006 and Dusty’s expanded by new unit growth and acquisition with the most recent openings in 2017.

These repair centers are located throughout New York, including the market areas around the cities of Albany, Buffalo and Syracuse. This location previously operated as Lake Pleasant Collision Center, servicing customers in the community since 2009. Peoria is a northwestern suburb of Phoenix, with a population of approximately 155,000 people and is listed in the “Top 100 Places to Live” by Money magazine.
