I'll begin with "thank you". My daughter and I were involved in an accident in late April 2022. My beloved Toyota 4Runner was an undrivable mess. I had heard Gerber did exceptional work, so when it came time to choose a preferred repair shop through my insurance company, I decided to give them a try. Understandably, we're still working through post-pandemic part shortages, so I was somewhat expecting this to take a while. The Gerber team kept me updated on a bi-weekly basis (Don and Tom). I have to admit, I was a bit testy at times. I thought it was going to be done a little quicker than it was, but that was wishful thinking on my part, mainly because I really wanted my truck back. Since you don't have an on-line survey (maybe you need one?) I'll answer your questions here: 10 -- Completely satisfied with customer service. It was helpful that I got a ride home when I dropped of my BMW. 10 -- Finished a day early. 10 -- I did have to return for an unforeseen problem with my hood latch -- it was taken care of promptly 10 -- Fabian stayed in regular touch via email to let me know the status of my repairs. 10 -- If it ever comes up I would recommend Gerber in Evanston.

I would give Gerber Collision & Glass TEN STARS if I could. Everyone there was kind, attentive, reassuring, and professional in handling what I expected to be an unhappy situation for me. Covid, the last winter holiday season, short staffing for them, and the hit and run damage done to my SUV and no knowledge of a good repair service in town all left me in a more sour mood than I could imagine. But that was simply wasted energy on my part. My auto insurer listed Gerber among my options here in Champaign. With fingers crossed, I called them. What a relief! From the office staff to those who made my SUV look new again, I have never been treated better. My repairs were done as quickly as possible, they stayed in touch along the way, and I was back in the road, happier than ever. Rudy C. was excellent at communicating, even throughout delays due to supply chain issues. It says under job number "Dave C" so I'm assuming that's the technician that restored my car. He did wonderful work.. my car looks better than it did before the collision. It looks great and drives wonderfully. Five stars!

Derek B. was awesome as there was delays no one could have predicted. .. weather, flooding etc. There were some initial confusion with the insurance. Derek was patient and I always felt he was doing his best to get my car fixed and back to me. He called the care rental to let them know that the repairs were delayed and I was still using the rental. I walk with a cane and this was very important to me. This was the second time in twenty years I used Gerber and each time I was super please. Derek deserves a raise or promotion! Thanks Gerber!
