IL - 1001 Remington Rd, Schaumburg - 9/25/18

My husband and I had gone to Zeigler Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Schaumburg because we were told to come in because my husbands one year old brand new car was starting to rust, John who works at the dealership was no help and told us that the dealership would not cover the damage on the rust and referred us to speak to a representative named Eli from Gerber Collision and Glass. Eli was very helpful and was nice enough to call his manager Stephen and asked if they had the color paint of our car. They did so we went to the auto repair shop and the manager Stephen put a clear coat of paint over the rust stains to help slow down the rust and it was free of charge. Eli and Stephen were very helpful.

It's my second time I have been to this auto service shop and they have done a really good job on my car. Cruz is an excellent worker. He took care of me in my situation and my car. I'm really thankful of them. It looked brand new.

Yes, I would refer the world to this incredible and professional facility !!!!! Yes I work 3rd shift and had an accident with the curb and a possum or raccoon whatever it was, I did not want to hit it-the result-a damaged front end and suspension, transaxle and steering gear, etc.. The incident happened Friday so Saturday am when I got off sad to say I called two dealers (the automobile dealership) and was told we can see you Next week and we don't have any cars....I was in tears, pissed, tired, frustrated and literally still feel totally misused and abused as a consumer. NEVERTHELESS, I called GERBER COLLISION AND GLASS MELROSE PARK Located 2311 N Mannheim Road approximately 8am if not latter that Saturday morning because it's located by my Dad's house. A wonderful and beautiful young lady by the name of Christina heard me and she heard ... the anguish and frustration and sadness in my voice and I assure you... She asked me how was I doing and she was like a surgeon with precision and accuracy. Christina found the most kindest man to pick up the car and me from Palatine, IL, I also was set up with my insurance company and the rental agency for a car ALL ON THE SAME DAY???? . I was then driven to the rental car office and picked up a nice vehicle by the manager whose name is Hubert and Peter the estimator are personable, great communicators on all levels, and detailed oriented.... Jessica handled the rental car transactions and didn't miss a beat, date or toll and know that I had the greatest cup of coffee while waiting while Christina and this wonderful team worked together to make sure that I was good, and my car was being properly repaired, and I was not in the dark no time at all.... Everyone was true to the purpose and cause. As for me I was really helpless, without a vehicle because the car was not drivable and Hillside is far from Palatine, IL. MELROSE PARK GERBER COLLISION AND GLASS care, they are wonderful human beings who were so caring I really cried that I was so messed and favored to meet such a wonderful crew and group of people who are knowledgeable, and genuine....and will always have my respect and business. my first accident ever and quite honestly was a bit nervous to have my car repaired by the unknown. O MY Word!!! - This place EXCELLED on so many levels. When I went to pick up my vehicle I was extremely over joyed by the restoration - Looks brand new!! Turn around time was as promised!!! GERBER HIGHLY WRECK-ommended!!!!!

Thanks to McKinley and the staff at Gerber in Downers Grove. They took great care of our beloved, vintage 4Runner. Thanks for the calls to keep us updated throughout the repair and the help with a rental car. We had several laughs, which made a yucky process as positive as possible.

I cannot say enough praise for the body/paint department. My vehicle looks amazing. If you were to look at my vehicle you would never know it was in an accident. The paint matches and looks amazing. They gave me an estimated time for when it would be done and they stood by it. Gerber in Normal, THANK YOU for an outstanding job. I have already told my friends to go there for body repair/paint.

I have to tell you how very p!eased I was with everyone at the Buffalo Grove Illinois location! I had read some reviews that were critical about wait times and everything , so wasn't sure before going in. But I walked in at 7:30 AM and was out before 8:30 with a rental car. The receptionist Ashley ( hope I spelled it right ) helped me right away and was so nice! They took my car in for assessment right away and Jacqueline came out to talk with me about her assessment of the damage. I was again taken to reception area and helped by Ashley. ( I had called my insurance company the day before so all my info was already in). They had Daniel from Enterprise rental cars there within about 15-20 minutes who was also terific, very polite and helpful. I was so pleased that the entire process took about an hour. The staff here is so courteous and ... kind! Want them to know how much I appreciate it! Thank you read more

While I was on vacation, my car was hit by a mower. When I got home, I took my car to Gerber, and Jorge provided me with an estimate that was way more accurate than what the insurance had quoted me. He was very knowledgeable and was able to walk me through the whole process as this was the first time I had to do this. The work that was done on my car was fantastic. The car was only 3 months old when it when in and it came out looking just as good as the day I bought it. The guys in the shop did a fantastic job. When I picked up the car, Jim had come outside to walk me through exactly what was done, and he provided me with excellent instructions on how to care for the new paint over the next few months. I could not have asked for a better experience for my first body repair than what I got from these guys. I will definitely return for any ... future body work. read more
