IN - 244 Melton Rd, Chesterton - 3/16/22

My son's car was clipped in a hit and run while on his college campus. I brought the vehicle to Gerber. Joe took a detailed look and said he'd be right back. He brought out two different solutions and completely buffed out the scrapes. He saved me a good $500 if not more. This is not the 1st time I have used this Gerber location and it DEFINETLY will not be the last! Thank you, Joe and Gerber Collision and Glass.

Everyone was extremely helpful. I was updated, frequently, on the progress and kept informed. They were also flexible as far as my time schedule. I am very satisfied and certainly would recommend them or return if the occasion is needed

Your estimator Judi was very helpful from our first meeting until the end answering all the questions I had. The techs that did the work on my vehicle did an excellent job making it look new again. I will definitely return back if I ever require repairs to my vehicles

1 would give 10 stars if I could. I have never had to deal with car damage from an accident, so I was completely ignorant going into this whole process. Gerber was absolutely amazing in helping me through what would have been stressful situation to a not stressful situation. From calling about my rental to keeping me posted about my repairs. I just got my car back and it looks amazing!! Everyone I delt with was so friendly and helpful. Ryan ( General Manager) was absolutely amazing!!

Staff was polite and professional. Not only was the repair flawless, but they were willing to accommodate are schedule. We are directors of a food pantry in Calumet City and worked around the delivery time.

The team at this location went above and beyond to make my car look brand new after my wreck. There was $9k worth of damage to the front end of my vehicle. Despite going through a COVID surge, Snowmagedon, parts on back order, and an ice storm; I feel that they accomplished my repairs in a timely manner. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful and they were communicative throughout the whole process. 10/10

Had an accident. State Farm recommended Gerber. My vehicle towed there for estimate. State Farm got it and deemed my car a total loss, not based on the estimate. but after the $2,000.00 range above the estimate. State farm deemed it 75% of value and totalled it. Then after that was determined. i stopped in the let them know all final paperwork was in and my settlement money should be in a couple of days. Two days later I went in to the office and told them money came in and how do they want to transact for the repairs...they then told me they don't work on "totalled" vehicles.......

I appreciate the timeliness of the work being completed (despite inclement weather in our area) and the fact that even the inside of the car was cleaned during its stay. (Which isn't easy to do, considering it's snow and salt season.)

Great service and workmanship. The office staff of Briley, Sarah and Kelly were all thoroughly professional, and repairs are beautiful, I got my car back three days earlier than expected. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I had deleted my feedback by mistake but I felt it was extremely important to share my experience. I went in and the shop was booking out, however Sabrina realized my truck was DOT work truck and since i had a mirror issue she said she would get me in that same week so I didn't risk getting fined or ticket for DOT compliance issues. I was amazed she even knew the headache I could experience with DOT if they found my mirror to be a problem but even more so I was impressed with her care and concern which is rare with places these days. The promptness, friendly attitutde and great service earned a lifetime customer (although i hope to not need body repairs often)

Replaced trim piece on lower edge of passenger side rear door on 2017 Ford edge. Very fast and efficient service. This is the second time I have used this business and I would highly recommend them for all of your automobile repairs.
