I brought my car for an estimate at the Schaumburg location and the services were actually done in Melrose Park. I could not ask for better service between these two locations. I thank everyone I talked to and everyone who put in the labor. This is one of three accidents I have experienced THIS YEAR. All not my fault to clarify. The same shop fixed my car the first two times. I was scared to stray from them. But the other driver's insurance company insisted I go to Gerber. I see exactly why. You guys took care of me right away! My mind is blown at how fast it was fixed versus the month(s) I had to wait at the other place...and it was for way less damage. I've been through so much and you guys were able to empathize, communicate, do it faster than the date I was given, and put me at ease with my unfortunate luck. I truly appreciate it.

Yes, I would refer the world to this incredible and professional facility !!!!! Yes I work 3rd shift and had an accident with the curb and a possum or raccoon whatever it was, I did not want to hit it-the result-a damaged front end and suspension, transaxle and steering gear, etc.. The incident happened Friday so Saturday am when I got off sad to say I called two dealers (the automobile dealership) and was told we can see you Next week and we don't have any cars....I was in tears, pissed, tired, frustrated and literally still feel totally misused and abused as a consumer. NEVERTHELESS, I called GERBER COLLISION AND GLASS MELROSE PARK Located 2311 N Mannheim Road approximately 8am if not latter that Saturday morning because it's located by my Dad's house. A wonderful and beautiful young lady by the name of Christina heard me and she heard ... the anguish and frustration and sadness in my voice and I assure you... She asked me how was I doing and she was like a surgeon with precision and accuracy. Christina found the most kindest man to pick up the car and me from Palatine, IL, I also was set up with my insurance company and the rental agency for a car ALL ON THE SAME DAY???? . I was then driven to the rental car office and picked up a nice vehicle by the manager whose name is Hubert and Peter the estimator are personable, great communicators on all levels, and detailed oriented.... Jessica handled the rental car transactions and didn't miss a beat, date or toll and know that I had the greatest cup of coffee while waiting while Christina and this wonderful team worked together to make sure that I was good, and my car was being properly repaired, and I was not in the dark no time at all.... Everyone was true to the purpose and cause. As for me I was really helpless, without a vehicle because the car was not drivable and Hillside is far from Palatine, IL. MELROSE PARK GERBER COLLISION AND GLASS care, they are wonderful human beings who were so caring I really cried that I was so messed and favored to meet such a wonderful crew and group of people who are knowledgeable, and genuine....and will always have my respect and business. This is the first time I used Gerber, but not the first time in our family. My father and niece have all brought in their vehicles. Everyone is friendly and give updates on the process. I would recommend this location. My vehicle was done fast and didn't even look like I was in an accident. Great Job!

I received the best customer service from Jessica and Uriel. I was informed on the status of my Jeep and was very pleased with the work that was done on my truck!!! The shop closes at 5:30 and Uriel waited for me to get there to get my Jeep which was close to 6. Thank you all for your GREAT SERVICE!!!!

I just picked up my car from Gerber/Melrose and I am VERY impressed with how great my car looks and the service I received. Jessica was very friendly and Uriel too he kept me informed. They went above and beyond by dropping me off at home and picking me up once the car was ready. I will HIGHLY recommend Gerber/Melrose and let my insurance company USAA know too. 10+++ Excellent! My car looks new again.

I needed my bumper replaced due to an accident. From the moment I called I felt that I would be treated very well. I took my car in on Monday morning was told that it will be taken care of and by the end of the next day I had it back like new. They even buffed out my side mirror and I fell in love with my car all over again. Great job guys.

To upper management or who it may concern, Hello, my name is Tom B. and I would like to tell my first experience at Gerber Collison & Glass. Let me start by letting you know that I recently purchased my first new car that I absolutely love. Just like anyone with a new car, I take great care of it and I am aware of every inch of the vehicle and even do the occasional walk around inspection. Unfortunately I have recently discovered two small surface scratches on my car. You can only know how this made me feel. One day after work I stopped in at an auto parts store and purchased a scratch remover... which of course did nothing. Then when I was driving home I drove past one of your facilities and decided to give you guys a call. When I did call I was wondering about an estimate and more information. I spoke with a gentleman named Maurice ... Bell and he was very helpful and told me that I should come in the next day. I let him know that I wouldn't be able to arrive until after 5:00 pm due to work. He was very understandable and told me to come in around that time would be fine (founding out later that they close at 5:00 pm by looking online. So basically they were accommodating my time, which was very nice of them and I really do appreciate it.) So I did arrive to the Melrose Park, IL facility and met with Maurice. He was very polite and I showed him the scratches on the car and he explained that he would take my car and have the technicians take a looks and possibly make a price quote. Less than 15 minutes later he arrived back with the car and told me that they were able to buff out the scratches and he would he wouldn't charge me. I was blown away. The work that was done was amazing and I would like to thank Maurice, the technician, and also Gerber Collison & Glass. The customer service that I experience was exceptional and rare is the auto business. You have gained a customer and I will advise my friends and family to also go to Gerber Collison & Glass for any future service. Again, thank you and keep up the great work!!! read more
