Overall I had a pretty good experience with Gerber Collision. I was directed to this repair shop through my insurance company, and I know part of my good experience is thanks most of the repairs being covered by my plan. Gerber gave me updates on the status of my car repair consistently, until the Thursday before the estimated date of completion (the following Tuesday). I didn't get a call on Thursday, and I called them the day it was supposed to be finished only to hear that it would likely be another week. The gentleman in charge of my account was apologetic for not calling with an update, but I would have liked to know a little further in advance that my car wasn't going to be ready; it would have made planning my transportation for that extra week easier. Aside from that it was a relatively painless process. The rear part of my car ... looks nicer than it has in a while and the repairs come with a lifetime warranty if anything fails, which is a nice reassurance. read more

The staff is extremely professional and helpful. My car had been vandalized and Fred Luckey took the time to clean off some of the spray paint, and then referred me to a detail shop to finish it up. I will definitely return to Gerber for any future collision or glass needs.

Fred Luckey used a suction cup to get a dent out of the side of my new car. He was so polite and helpful. He even gave me the card for someone who could get the remaining small dimple out. I didn't want to use my insurance and the person who hit my car didn't leave a number or anything. This is a great place to come for repairs. They do excellent work.

I portion of my front bumper became dislodge from the frame due to catching on a wheelstop. I had duct taped it together in fear of it flying off on the freeway. I brought it into the shop hoping for a quick fix and Gerber (Fred) did NOT disappoint. Like an Orthopeadic Surgeon, he popped my bumper back into place and sent me on my way. This is my second time coming to Gerber and I am always treated well and experience great customer service. Fred Lucky always does a great job for me and my car always looks great after repair; he answers all of my questions and is friendly and gives good advice. Never any hassle or problems; they even waited for me to get off work and drive to their shop to pick up my repaired car, even though it was right at closing time and I was a little late. I had a minor dent in my fender and I brought it into the dealership. Fred went to the car and unhooked the protective wheel insert and pushed the sent from the inside where it popped back into place. All at no charge. Thank you Fred and Gerber.
