I am a traveling nurse. I came out to Yuma from Upstate New York and needed to have some honest advice on repairs that my Toyota Highlander needed. I have had this vehicle for over nine years and have put over 208,000 miles on it. I will admit, I am not very car-savvy, and I really needed a shop who did not take advantage of a "single, naive woman". One of my fellow nurses suggested I try Gerber collision after I had gone to another garage who really had me stressed with all of the repairs that they "insisted" that I needed done. Gerber went over my car with a fine tooth comb, and took the other estimate and reduced the finds to a third of what was needed! They did the work so quickly and completely and explained to me everything before they did it. NOT ONLY THAT.... They GAVE me a rental car at NO CHARGE while they ... worked on my car! A few days ago, I went back to have them check on a couple of things that I was hearing and also have a cabin filter replaced. Again, they gave me a free rental car, and checked over everything again to sooth my nerves. I went to pay for the bill and was given a wonderful gift... "oh come on, Lisa, the filter was only 8 bucks and it was our pleasure to check out the car to be sure you will make it back to New York safely. You don't owe us a dime. Now go on and get out of here and have a great rest of the week!" What a wonderful place! I TOTALLY recommend Gerber for anyone, especially us with not a lot of car knowledge, to come and get fantastic customer service and peace of mind to know your vehicle will be safe and serviced perfectly! read more

I was met with professionalism first class from the beginning until the end of my experience at Gerber-Yuma. It is not pleasant to have an accident of any type so a person just wants to get beyond it. I feel at Gerber they made me comfortable and important as a customer. They took care of my problem with great expediency and did what they promised. Very refreshing these days! Thank you to Tom especially and the receptionist and to the driver that took me home. Jordan explained everything very well and he called me twice a week to give me updates on the progress of the repair work . He and his staff ensured that my car was safe, in excellent working condition, and spotless before I picked it up.

At first, I was not too sure about bringing my vehicle to Gerber for repairs just for the simple fact that I never heard of them. But, I am so glad that I did decide to go through with it and let them repair my vehicle. I had nothing but a positive experience with them. The staff was delightful, polite, courteous, and understanding! I received phone call updates of their current work progress on my vehicle. I have never heard of any company doing that! I definitely appreciated those phone calls. My vehicle was ready for pick up before the promised date :-) another plus! And not to mention, the car looked amazing! I am so glad that I took my vehicle to Gerber Collision, I trust them and their work! God forbid, if I had another wreck, I wouldn't think twice about where to take my vehicle! I retired 12/28/2012 I started and graduated 05/1976 since about then have been a member of management have worked with employees, other departments, agency’s,upper management and outside vendors have been trained, trained and practiced customer service for over 30 years. Your crew at Gerber Collision and Glass in Yuma, AZ under Jordon is outstanding I feel this is one of those rare times when you get the perfect mix of people, personalities, perfection and dedication and it shows. You should extremely proud and honored that these people work for you. You can offer promotions or price deals but unless you have a grew like this it won’t matter. It’s about bringing customers back and sending them away happy. Happy enough to pass on positive feedback. These people am sure rank at the top over the last 6+ weeks I have noticed the following ... with them: 1. The phone answering manners is perfect 2. Very reliable they do what they say don’t promise what they can’t do 3. Listen to customers 4. Deal with complaints as if it was theirs 5. Be helpful- even if there seems to be no profit in it 6. Great personnel skills 7. Great group dynamics 8. Doing something extra, which is so appreciated ( example: telling a winter visitor best Mexican food in town) If your goal as a company is to build customer loyalty you did with me. This is a small town was taken back when Geico sent me to you because you are the new guys in our town, felt I didn’t use the home town places still do but you deserve a shot and have earned it. Would like you to let Jordon and his crew, who are always so nice to know from you how well they have done it would mean a lot In fact would love to see them on one of your pamphlets what a honor this would be for them. They. Were friendly all those that I talk to were Jordan, Kerri, and Tom they were a great help. They did a great job in repairing my back bumper and unseen damages from where I was hit. it was fun to Chet chat with them during the process. I would definitely recommend them and go back to them.
