Gerber did an excellent job repairing my car from start to finish. My estimator Rachel S. was always on top of things from letting me know via updates how my car was doing to accommodating the delivery time of my car to me. I would highly recommend Gerber to anyone who needs repair work.

My repair was done very quickly, I was kept in the loop about each step of the process, I got my car back a week early, and they even repaired a faulty connection in my sunroof, which wasn't part of the collision damage. All in all, a great experience, and I will definitely return here if I ever have the need.

I had occasion to call a few times while my car was being repaired. While the shop is large and busy, every time I called, the person who took the call recognized my name and my car and made me feel as though I was the only job the shop was working on. The answers to my questions were prompt and to the point. When I picked-up my car, even though my job was small, your representative treated me as if I was her total responsibility for the day. When an insurance question came up, she resolved it definitively on the spot. She clearly knew my situation and was able to explain it quickly to the cashier. At all times I was treated respectfully, and no concern of mine was too small. I usually do not write reviews, but I was compelled by the excellent service at this location.

Had my Srt8 Challenger in for repair and I have to say the experience was great! Chris F. and Sam R. were awesome! They kept me updated through the whole process and the work that was done was top notch..My plum crazy Challenger was matched perfectly and it was like nothing ever happened when I got it back, So happy I took it there!

First came to Gerber when State Farm sent us to fix damage on our new Lexus. Lexus dealer had quoted over two thousand dollars. Luckily, State Farm sent us to Gerber. Next they helped when I clumsily ran into the same door frame on the door of our coop's garage (in my defense it is a building from the 20's before the 350!) but still everyone was super polite as they fixed the same problem twice in twenty four hours. Today Gerber on Halsted (the best!) put new Texas plates on the car. We had been getting tickets for only having one plate on the car, so we finally got two Texas plates which then I couldn't find anyone willing to trouble shoot putting a license bracket and plate on the front of a Lexus that clearly wasn't intended to have a plate. I had some major damage in the front of my car from a UHAUL driver crushing the left panel and front bumper. I brought my car to Gerber for an estimate and they made everything so simple. Rachel took care of me and assured me that they would give me a fair estimate within my insurance's estimate or they would contact them directly for any other incidentals. My car came out looking better than new! And Rachel called me almost daily to give me progress reports. I knew exactly what to expect. I am very pleased with the service and repair work. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The repair was very quick and I was very pleased with the final result. its a big asset being notified how the repair is coming along and when it will be completed.
