I got tagged by a driver turning out of a parking lot . . . traded paint. The driver wanted to pay cash for my repairs. The first estimate I received was approx. $700 and 3 days in the shop. Scott Behm @ Gerber in CL thought my cosmetic damage could be buffed out for a minimal charge. The guys in back worked their magic. The side of my 06 Impala looked great. Best part - Scott did the work for no charge and I did not have to have my car in the shop for 3 days. Thanks Scott and the team at Gerber in CL!

I was very happy with the work that was done on my car. Scott Behm and Pete gave me the best service I every had. I had some work that needed to be done to my car that was not related to the collison. They asked me if I would like it fixed and gave me a great price. They provided excellent service and I tell everybody I know how wonderful they are. I highly recommend Gerber because of them.

Great job...they repaired my truck after it was hit in the rear end. It was done in 2 1/2 days and they dealt with the insurance company. I would definitly recommend them.

"After having trouble and being totally dissatisfied with work done at a suppossedly reputable body shop.???????????? took my car to Gerber to see if they could repair the repair. Mike was very, very helpful and the work was carried out in a couple of days, needless to say the repaired, repair was excellent.!!!!!!!! Taking my car back for "slight " repairs to the front end. Hate winters.!!"

My experience at Gerber (Crystal Lake location) was outstanding. I called on a Sat. morning and they allowed me to come in and drop my car off for repair following a minor car accident. I was dealing with Farmers Ins. (not my own) as the party who hit me was deemed 100% responsible. Enterprise dropped a car off for me while Gerber took care of the rest - an employee there even assisted me in removing a car seat and installing it in the rental. My car was ready on Monday afternoon. I parked the rental, stepped inside for a couple of minutes to sign off on paperwork, inspected the work done while someone once again assisted me with the car seat.
