My wife's car was hit by a deer while stopped at a light. The rear door was crushed. I drove her car to the Elmhurst location on Lake Street for an estimate. Paul Pennella looked over the damage and provided a repair estimate for insurance pretty quickly. Everyone I spoke with at Gerber was very cordial. Paul called me a couple times during the week to let me know the status. My wife picked up the car at the end of the week (a couple days earlier than the estimate) and Paul showed her everything that was fixed. Both of us were very happy with the work done. We would definitely use Gerber again.

After this accident, the car was not driveable and we were referred to the above captioned Gerber Collision Shop by Carnica Auto Body in Bensenville, Illinois. I cannot express in words how trully grateful I am for the unsurpassed excellent service provided by your technician, Paul. Not only were the repairs done to the vehicle of high quality, they exceeded our expectations. In addition, you are trully blessed to have an employee such as Paul representing your company. This was a very difficult and upsetting accident. The true kindness and honesty that Paul expressed will be forever remembered. I have a Lincoln Navigator that the DVD player had 3 of the 4 screws come out and was barely hanging from the interior ceiling of the vehicle. I had personally tried to replace the screws and was unsuccessful in securing the DVD player in place. It was late in the day on Friday and after having two other places turn me down and tell me to come back on Monday. I decided to stop by the local Gerber on Lake Street in Elmhurst. I had done business in the past with Gerber and was very happy with their service. I originally didn’t think of Gerber being that the work they had done for me in the past was much more extensive. Matt Henneken was the only one who was friendly and willing to take a look at the problem for me. Once Matt accessed the repair he took the vehicle back to the shop and had the DVD player repaired. Where other companies had ... found the job to small, or it being too late in the day on Friday, Matt took value in his customer service, and looked at the big picture. Not only did Matt retain a valuable customer, he gained a partner in business who will not hesitate to recommend others to Gerber. In today’s business world too many companies have failed to offer this type of customer service that builds long term relationships. Gerber stands above the rest and makes you feel like you’re part of their family. These are the values that keep customers coming back. I need some work done on one of my other vehicles and will be stopping by Gerber soon. read more

I needed to get a rear window replaced on my 2012 Pilot in Highland Park Illinois. Joe Zemke was the installer. Joe has great customer service skills. He was very kind and helpful. He is a big positive for your company. It is hard to find people that understand how to be polite and patient with customers. Joe has all the appropriate attributes that make a customer’s experience a positive one. Thank you Joe!

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Gerber AUto to the fine employees that they have in there ELmhurst location. Craig was on my case and the receptionish Jacqulin (not sure how to spell her name) made a rough accident into a less streeing expierence for me. Gerber not only did an amzing repiar works on the care ( they made it look brand new) but they treated me with sincere kindness and they went the extra mile, all at Gerber Did! and I thank you! Just wanted to type a quick note to commend Matt at the Elmhurst location for his great customer service. I had my car repaired from a front end collision in January of 2012 and just recently noticed that the heat wasn't working. I took it back in and the radiator was working fine, which absolved Gerber of any liabilty on the issue. Matt agreed to, at his cost, buy and install a new thermostat to see if that was the problem. It turns out that it was something else and I will need to visit a dealership, but I'm very pleased that he took the extra step and attemped to help as a courtesy to me. He was personable, articulate, and a great representative for Gerber.

Matt Henneken, Production Manager, was excellent and provided a professional experience, for our first time there. My Traverse, had a quarter size scratch, and he took care of it in less than a day. Right when I entered the doors, the reception person, was very friendly and she put me in ease. I will definitely go there for any body work needed. The work was excellent, can't find where the scratch.

Great service. Craig Junod was great. Front desk was helpful. Car looks brand new. 2006 Silver Maza 6. Everyone went beyond themselves with good customer service. They even fix our remote key with new batteries. Will be back.
