After getting rear-ended two weeks ago, I decided to get my car repaired by Gerber Collision, near my home in Skokie (and based on a recommendation from GMAC Insurance). From the initial phone call to the completed repairs, the customer service was outstanding. Within a minute of arriving at Gerber, David Martinez promptly introduced himself and estimated the damage, walking me through the entire process. He called me several times during the week for status updates and returned the car right on schedule, and in immaculate condition. This was my fifth experience with auto body repair and by far the best. The receptionists, David and the repair crew helped turn an unfortunate situation into a great one for me. Thank you!

Estimator David Martinez and the Skokie office did an EXCELLENT job in repairing some body damage and a broken headlight and taillight on my 1999 Dodge Van. And the bill was less than I expected it to be. The service was great and fast.

I was impressed by the efficient and professional way Gerber managed the repair of our Camry. Details -- such as making a call directly to the responsible insurance company, coordinating a car rental, giving frequent updates on repair schedule, and forwarding updated info to the adjuster -- were done without my having to request them. The repaired and spotless car was returned within the estimated time period too.

Have never had such professional car with an auto shop. James Heitzman and Sam Miller treated me with utmost respect in regards to the work my car needed. Explained what they could do and exactly how long it would take!! They even drove me to my home while they did the work. I hope I never need body work again, but if I do, no doubt I would return there!!

Once again from the moment I walked in I had exceptional service. Nobody ever wantsto have to visit a collision repair shop,but this one is worth it if you have to. Jim was extremely professional and helpful in helping me take the steps to have my car fixed. Before I knew it my car was ready to be picked up. They were professional fast and my car came back looking cleaner and more beautiful than I left it. Once again I am pleased and would not hesitate at all to recommend them for auto repair needs.
