My wife had a relatively minor encounter with an iron railing near our driveway which left a 12" indentation on the panel just behind the passenger side rear door of our 2002 Suburu. Of course any "minor encounter" involving body work is never "minor." I didn't want to submit the bill to our insurance company since I carry a rather high deductible. and I didn't want the incident on our insurance record. I got repair bids from three places, the first a high end and highly respected body specialist. The other two bids were from Gerber, and then from Maco. While the high end place would have done an excellent job (they were working on a number of newer Mercedes and BMW's) their estimate was nearly $3,000. I'm sure the work they would have done would have justified the cost. However, a 2002 car didn't deserve such ... attention. The estimator at Gerber (Randy) recognized that I wanted good work at a reasonable price and that the cost would come out of my pocket. His estimate was $1250. He didn't promise as much as the other place, but he assured me the work would be very satisfactory. Just to assure myself about cost, I got a bid from Maco, a place used car dealers often use. To my surprise, the Maco bid was only a few dollars lower than the Gerber bid. And, I didn't feel a confident about the quality. I scheduled an appointment with Gerber and couldn't be more pleased with the results. I'm sure a car buff expecting complete perfection would have found something that didn't approach new car standards. However, I am completely happy. I can't see any evidence of the previous damage and the new paint matched and blended in very well, I couldn't be more pleased and would recommend Gerber to anyone wanting a very good job at an extremely reasonable price. read more

After my rear passenger door glass was shattered & thieves stole things, Gerber vacuumed, cleaned up my car & weather-proofed the open window with plastic for my 3 hour drive home. All within 35 minutes! Thank you Gerber for great service :-)

Fast, amazing work. I didn't compare prices because the other guy's insurance was paying and they suggested Gerber so I assume they were ok with the costs.... But my Rav4 looks fantastic! You cannot even tell where the body work was done, the color matching is undetectable and best of all, I got my car back as clean as it was the day I bought it new.

Josh went the extra mile tracking down the parts we needed, had to get creative to solve the issues with the car, communicated every step of the way and came in under his estimate. The work done by the shop was great as well. Highly recommend.

I normally do not give feedback on anything,but I feel obligated to let people what a fantastic job Gerber did on the repairs to our 2015 Honda Civic. It actually looks better now than when we bought it. Besides the fantastic repairs the Gerber employees went beyond our expectations.
