I would like to give a big thanks to Sevice Manager Steve K! He really helped me after I had my car repaired at the Buffalo Grove Gerber location. I had my driver's side door replaced after it was hit by another car. The repair was done in a timely manner and was done very well. But shortly after my getting my car back the "Hood Open" warning light kept coming on and my car alarm would randomly go off. When I asked Steve about this issue he really took time with me to diagnose the problem. It was eventually determined that my hood latch was faulty. Steve was quick to order the new part and get it installed in 24 hours. This is the type of customer service that makes me want to have all my related car needs taken care of by Gerber. I would like to say I went to this auto and collision and my service was great I had to pleasure meeting with the manager Pat and working with the customer service in the front of the store they did a wonderful job on my 2003 BMW and I want to say that I am giving them accommodation of doing a excellent job and I will recommend my friends and family thank you. Car was involved in a minor parking lot collision. The only visible damage was a plastic piece buckled. Marci went far beyond the call of duty and offered to take the car in and pop the piece out. The young lad that backed into the car will be mighty happy that there was no damage, and the more mature owner of the car is quite impressed with this extraordinary service.

I hit a chunk of cement on the expressway. Since I had used Gerber before with great results I made an appointment to see if the dent could be removed. I did not want to spend the funds to have the whole bumper removed and painted as the dent was difficult to see, but the car was new. Marcie Mendez, the estimator, said she thought someone might be able to remove the dent with a little heat against the plastic. In 10 minutes the dent was gone and I was on my way for no charge. Thank you Marcie!

I just wanted to send a quick note that Marcey (one of the autobody techs) is AWESOME!! I wasn't in an accident but had a weird problem with my driver side door not opening and Marcey was able to walk me through the issue (the door was hitting the front fender for some weird reason) and was even able to bend the door/fender back into place so that my door would open again!! That was all done in the span of 30 mintues which let me get back to work without taking any paid time off. What a wonderful experience and a fantastic employee! I'll be back with any problems I have in the future and I'll be telling all of my friends/coworkers here in Lincolnshire. Thanks Marcey!!

I caught my bumper on a tall curb and partially pulled it off the car. I took it in for an estimate, fully expecting to need a new bumper, but they took a look at it and were able to basically snap it back into place! A month later, a piece was dragging from my under carriage. I took it back, again expecting to need a new bumper, but it was just broken clips that they hadn't seen the first time. So they replaced the clips and sent me on my way. They could have told me I needed a whole new bumper, but they recognized that it wasn't necessary and saved me the time and money. I really appreciate it. :)

It's understandable why Gerber is the only game in town and the preferred facility for most insurance companies. I got a second quote from a highly recommended shop whose price was 121 percent higher - yes, more than double Gerber's price, and my Gerber repair looks showroom new. Fast turnaround too. I'm glad to pass the word.
