The molding strip on the back door of my Odyssey was not fully attached. Dimitri A. examined it as saw one of the tabs holding it in place was broken. He took the vehicle into the shop and discovered a way to hold it in place without replacing anything, He did a 10 minute solution--without any charge--a very good outcome. Thank you Dimitri!!!

I came to Gerber to get an estimate for a small smash on my 2016 Nissan Frontier. While the damage was smaller than dime there was bare metal showing and rust present. (In less than two weeks.) The estimator (Dimitri A.) started the formal estimate, and offered to clean and touch up the damage for free! I couldn't believe it..I asked Dimitri what he would do if this were his car. He checked on the full blown estimate (over $300), and then said he would just touch it up. I said - make it so. He took my car in the back. Within 10 minutes the touch up was done, and was on my way..What can I say? I was amazed by the whole experience. I will definitely come back to Gerber whenever I need body repair work done on any of my vehicles. Thanks Dimitri!!!

I normally go through dealer repair shops to get parts and product repair for OEM. NEVER AGAIN! Dimitri A.(I think I spelled that right) was totally FIRST CLASS. Instead of typical grumpier mechanics, he was 100% customer service oriented. Fast, efficient, got my part and got it done quickly in PERFECT shape. You guys rock! Dimitri is a professional through and through and will go a long way in this company.

Jeff was exceptional in setting expectations and deliverying results. This is my third time using this facility! And, each time my expectations were exceeded. I would definately advise people with collision and auto body issues to contact this Gerber facility.

The Buffalo Grove office was professional, communicated often and accurately, the job was done ahead of time and the final product looked like the car was brand new. Rented a car in the same office/location and that was very convenient. Would return to Gerber hands-down if I am in need of repair services in the future.

I went to Gerber and received amazing customer service. I was helped by Mark S. and he went out of his way to assist me and give me the best advice and care. I was rear-ended and ended up with a scratch on my front bumper. It was my first car incident and I was worried about the cost and insurance. Mark told me it would end up being $500 to do it he proper way, but if I didn't mind he could try buffing it. He took the car and 5 minutes later brought it out to show me. He told me that since his fingernail didn't catch in the paint, he wanted to try this easier fix and if I thought it looked okay. It was absolutely more than okay! While it is true that taking one's car in for collision repair is never a happy circumstance, I must say that all three of my encounters with Gerber have been excellent.The staff is courteous, efficient, and does excellent work. Today, I walked in with paint scrapes on my car that were made by a careless driver while I was in a store, shopping. Mark S. absolutely made my day (my week, my month!!!) by suggesting that the white paint on my silver car could be removed with paint thinner. It worked like a charm! I was not charged for this service, and for sure, I am one happy customer. I hope that I don't need auto repairs anytime soon, but if I do, I will be a customer of Gerber in Buffalo Grove. I highly recommend this business!
