Wanted to drop a quick positive note regarding your Downers Grove facility. Prior to finding Gerber I used to feel like visiting the body shop was like visiting the dentist or the doctor - a necessary evil. Now I don't really mind it. The two receptionist are fantastic and execute at a high level of customer service - even when the phones are ringing off the hook. Great coffee and clean waiting room with excellent high speed WiFi connection. I've had my car, and my wife's car, fixed at this location several times. Simple things like replacing a fuse or side mirror; to door, quarter panel, and bumper replacement, to major rear end work. McKinley B. was great. Very polite, listened well. He wanted to meet with me personally but I had to leave early and thanks for being open early to allow me to get done early. Wendy at the desk was wonderful. She made the experience pleasant and helped to alleviate my tension. Nice that you have coffee available too.

Rick K. and his team did an incredible job. After another shop did their best but was unable to remedy the issues satisfactorily, Rick and his team analyzed the remaining challenges, in an exacting fashion corrected them, and now I feel like my car is just like I would have wanted from the start. Looks like new. I will be taking my vehicles to Rick and the team in the future as this is how service should be.

When I picked up my car I wasn't totally happy with how one piece was refitted on my car, I did not have any new parts, just buffed out parts and the reassembly wasn't quite how I wanted it. So Rick immediately addressed my needs, ordered that part, and received it as promised; I brought my car in today for the final fix and he handled it professionally and quickly. I appreciate his service and all the efforts of the entire Downers Grove team.

Rick E. was so polite and patient when I came in with my car. I had it fixed in 2013 and I wasn't sure if they would be able to do anything to help since it had been so long. But to my surprise, Rick was able to fix my bumper and finally give me the peace of mind I needed! Rick treated me with respect and spoke to me as an equal and never made me feel that my knowledge of cars was inadequate. I am grateful for that he was able to fix my car within 20 minutes. He even offered to back my car out so I didn't have to do it my self. Thank you, Rick, for your knowledge, kindness, and patience. I know it may sound silly but a 20 minute repair can truly impact someone's day in the most positive way.
