I would like to thank the team at Gerber (Downers Grove). From start to finish this process was as good of an experience as you can have when getting your car fixed. The team gave me a quick estimate, communicated status every couple days, and delivered 2 days early. They were very professional, courteous, and all around nice. The work done on my car was done to the highest standards. Getting your car repaired after an accident can be very intimidating, it is great to work with a team that takes the anxiety out of the process. Thank you!!!

I am writing this today to share my unexpected, but wonderful experience at the Downers Grove, IL location yesterday. After a long day of work, I had accidentaly shut my care door on one of the pylons in the parking garage, which caused the bottom corner of my door to bend out. I drove straigt to Gerber Collision because I was familiar with the area, and hear the radio ads all the time. My intent was to obtain a quote, and was not going to involve the insurance company. The estimator assigned to my car was Gary Wilmoth. Gary had initially said in order to get the door perfect again, it would require repainting the door, etc. I had said my initial goal was just to get that corner bent back so that no one would cut themselves walking by my car. He asked me to wait a few moments, and then took me back to my car. I was amazed to see that the ... car was fixed! There is a little crease were the door had been bent, but it was put back in place and was hardly recognizable. I had asked Gary how much this will cost, and he told me it was no charge. I cannot tell you how much this turned my day from a nightmare to one with a good ending. If I am ever in need of repair work done on my car, I will absolutely bring it to Gerber. I have only great things to say about my experience at Gerber. The people were professional and courteous, and my repair service was quick and thorough. Gerber even fixed a loose plastic panel at no extra charge. I also had several update calls, so I knew exactly what was happening with my vehicle. In addition, Gerber made dealing with the insurance company and the rental car company a seamless transaction. I hope I don't ever need collision repair again, but if I do, I will definitely take me vehicle to Gerber to take advantage of their superior service and lifetime guarantee.

These guys are fantastic. My glass top on my 2009 Coveete coupe came off of my car and was really scrached up bad, I went to several places to try to get it fixed. Everyone else told me that there was nothing that they could do. The guys and gals at Gerber Glass in Downers Grove were the only ones that said that they would see what they could do for me. When I came to pick it up. It looked like it was brand new. Fantastic job guys! You are real pros. No one does Glass Work better than you guys. I will recommend you guys to all of my friends with Corvettes to come to you guys.

I had the pleasure of having Gary Wilmoth come out to my vehicle to attempt to give an estimate. Upon arrival, he noticed that the damage was very very minor. Very nice guy who went above and beyond for me. The issue was solved in less than 10 minutes. By far the best experience I have ever had with an autobody shop and one of the best auto-repairmen I will probably ever meet in my life. I will most definitely refer people I know to Gerber Collision in Downers Grove, IL! :)

To management team, I recently was involved in a automobile accident and took my car to Gerbers for the repair work. I worked with Elise to get my estimates and repair work done and also set me up with a rental car. I am sending this e-mail to let you know that Elise is one of the nicest people I have run into. As you can imagine , an accident can be upsetting and cause a lot of stress. Elise took charge of the situation as soon as I brought my car in and took me step by step through the repair process. She contacted me twice to give me up dates on the repairs. Customer service like that is very nice to experience. When I picked up my car a man named Chris went over all the work that was done and some do's and don'ts about what I should do in the next month concerning washing and waxing the car. It turns out that my car was not as damaged as I thought, from a defective toll booth gate coming down on the hood of my car. Gary Wilmoth buffed the white paint (from the toll booth gate) from my black car as no charge to me. He was very professional and very helpful! I would use Gerber's services again, and would highly recommend Gerber to anyone needing repair service.

Our collision repairs were handled promptly by Tim Layne, the production mgr and his team. We were informed of needed repairs and costs plus given progress updates along the way. We will return to the shop in approx 60 days to recoat the vehicle for the paint protection package that was originally applied at the vehicles initial purchase. Tim and staff have reassured us this will also be handled efficiently and effectively in about 60 days when the new paint has cured. We are satisfied new customers. Thanks!
