"I brought my car in thinking it would cost hundreds of dollars to fix a huge scratch I had put in the drivers side door. Gary Wilmoth came out, looked at my car and said let me see if I can't just buff those scratches out? 15 min later, my car looked great and the scratches were gone. When I asked him what that would cost me, Gary replied, "nothing at all Mame, it was an easy fix...no charge to you". The fact that Gary took the time to resolve my issue and did not charge me for his time was a rare thing. My husband and I have used Gerber for years and will never change services. Elise Lewandowski is on the top of her game...when the insurance company handling my claim was giving me the run-around, she stayed calm, listened to my concerns and went above and beyond what any repair shop I've ever dealt with before has done. She got a hold of the insurance company and got to the bottom of the situation!!! Can you believe that!!! I am so impressed!!! When I was concerned about not being able to find the car rental, there was Elise again with the address & phone number of a local agency! When I got my car back, not only was the damged mirror replaced & door painted-both perfectly, but the salty mess of a car that I brought in was cleaned both inside and out. Gerber did an outstanding job at replacing/painting the bumper on my Ford. They said it would be done in 3 days and completed the work in 2 days! In addition, they completely surprised me by cleaning and vacuuming my car! I have two large hairy dogs and I haul them to the dog park regularly. My back seat and floor had so much hair on them when I dropped off my car, so I was pleasantly surprised that they cleaned every single hair off the seat and floor. It was delightful! This is my second visit to Gerber and I always have a fabulous experience!

"I am writing to tell you about my very favourable experience with Gerber's Mr. Rick Koestner, the General Manager in Downers Grove IL. I drive a 1999 infiniti Q45 that I have maintained very well. As Rick related, it is not uncommon for someone to do what I did, back into my son's car parked at the end of the drive. Luckily the only damage was a 2 foot long back mark. I had tried, unsuccessfully, to remove this mark with rubbing compount. I asked Rick for an estimate to repair my bumper and when he saw it, he said "We can take care of that, let me grab some things". After the first attempt he said "I need to grab a dfifferent solution". He hustled back inside, and returned to completely remove the damage to my bumper.
